By installing, accessing, or using Reddit Sonar ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Reddit Sonar ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Reddit Sonar is a desktop application that provides AI-powered lead discovery, scoring, and engagement tools for Reddit. It installs locally via npm and runs on your own machine; your data stays local (local-first). The Service includes:
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
Access to the Service requires either an active free trial or a valid paid license. Your access is bound to a single machine via machine fingerprinting and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.
New installations receive a fully-featured free trial of 5 hours of active usage per machine, with no credit card required. Every feature is unlocked during the trial (search, AI scoring, summarization, comment drafting, 24/7 listener, subreddit watch, competitor watch, insights/CSV export, proxy manager, and profiles). The trial measures active usage time, not wall-clock time. After the trial is used up, a paid license is required to continue full access. Abuse of the free trial (repeated machine resets, fingerprint spoofing) may result in access being blocked.
A license is bound to one machine. If you reinstall on the same machine or move to a new machine, the license re-binds to your current machine on the next activation (reinstall-swap), so you keep working without buying a new license. Attempts to run one license on multiple machines simultaneously will result in the additional machines being blocked.
You agree to use the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must NOT:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these terms.
The Service interacts with Reddit through a real browser session. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with Reddit's User Agreement and Reddit's Content Policy.
We are not affiliated with Reddit, Inc. Reddit is a registered trademark of Reddit, Inc. The Service is not endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Reddit, Inc.
We design the Service to mimic human behavior (real browser sessions, randomized polling intervals, residential proxy support), but we cannot guarantee that Reddit will not detect or restrict automated usage. You use the Service at your own risk with respect to your Reddit account.
The Service, including all software, designs, logos, documentation, and other content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to:
Continued full access after the free trial requires a one-time license of $199 USD. The license is valid for 365 days from activation, is bound to a single machine, and is non-transferable and non-recurring: there is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no automatic charges. Payment is made through Oxapay crypto checkout, which accepts BTC, ETH, USDT, and other supported cryptocurrencies. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice.
The Service uses OpenRouter or DeepSeek for AI features. You bring your own OpenRouter or DeepSeek API key and pay that provider directly for AI usage. We do not mark up or charge for AI API calls.
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your use of the Service.
The license is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no billing period to cancel, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge. Your access remains active until the 365-day license term ends, after which you may choose to purchase a new license.
If you are unsatisfied with the Service or believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will review your request for a refund. Please note that crypto payments made through Oxapay are effectively non-reversible, so any approved refund is issued at our discretion by separate transfer.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee specific results from using the Service, including but not limited to the quality or quantity of leads discovered.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
This includes, without limitation, any liability arising from the suspension or termination of your Reddit account, loss of data, or damage to your business reputation.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:

Upon termination, your license to use the Service is immediately revoked. Sections 7, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
