Licenses
Every script on Wholesaas ships with a license that tells you exactly what you can do with it. Here's what that means in plain terms — and the full rights granted.
Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. The Short Version
The short version: this license is for using the scripts — not for reselling or redistributing them. Download a script, use it in your own projects, ship your product, keep it forever. What you may not do is resell the script itself, republish it as your own, or hand it out as a standalone product or code pack.
Free scripts are licensed under the Wholesaas Commercial License described below. Premium vault content is licensed under the Wholesaas Premium License.
2. Wholesaas Commercial License (Free Scripts)
When you download a script marked “FREE,” Wholesaas grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the script — not to resell or redistribute it. Specifically, you may:
- Use the script in unlimited personal and commercial projects.
- Modify, adapt, extend and combine the code with your own work or third-party code.
- Ship, sell or license the products you build with the script.
- Use the code for client work, startups, agencies and internal tools.
- Keep and use the code forever, for free scripts and purchased premium scripts alike.
This license is not exclusive — we may license the same script to others. The script remains our property (or its contributors’), and the license grants you usage rights only.
4. Third-Party Dependencies
Scripts may include or depend on open-source packages (for example, MIT, Apache-2.0 or BSD-licensed libraries). Your use of those dependencies is governed by their own licenses, not by the Wholesaas license. Where a script’s README calls out specific dependencies, please review their license terms before commercial use.
The Wholesaas license does not grant you rights to any third-party trademarks, logos or assets that may appear in screenshots or documentation.
5. What You Can Do
- ✅ Use scripts in side projects, client work and funded startups.
- ✅ Modify the code to fit your product.
- ✅ Charge your customers for products built with the code.
- ✅ Share your own product’s source code (which may contain script code).
- ✅ Use the code in multiple projects simultaneously.
6. What You Can't Do
The license is for use only. These are the things you cannot do with the script itself:
- ❌ Resell, sublicense or redistribute the script itself as a standalone product, template marketplace listing, or code asset pack.
- ❌ Republish the unmodified script publicly (e.g., on GitHub, npm or Gumroad) as your own work.
- ❌ Use the code to build a competing code marketplace or template store.
- ❌ Remove or misrepresent authorship, license or copyright notices.
- ❌ Use the code in a way that violates applicable law or our Terms of Service.
7. Contributions & Community Submissions
When you submit a script to the marketplace, you retain ownership of your work and grant Wholesaas a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it. You confirm the submission is your own work or that you have permission to submit it, and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
